The successful candidate will:

* Have experience working with residents living with dementia
* Have a genuine interest in residents
* Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
* Work effectively as part of the Activities Team
* Motivate residents to participate in activities
* Have good organisational and time management skills
* Build residents' self-esteem
* Stay informed about new activities and trends

Role and responsibilities include:

* Organising and coordinating tailored individual and group activities, including themed events based on holidays and traditions
* Booking external entertainers and suppliers
* Organising community trips, considering transport and accessibility
* Planning a stimulating activity programme to enhance residents' quality of life
* Maintaining records of resident participation and needs
* Updating information on activities available within the Home and the community
* Participating in fundraising events

General duties:

* Attending staff meetings
* Completing mandatory and developmental training
* Communicating effectively with staff, relatives, visitors, and professionals
* Practicing safe working practices
