What You Will Do Deliver a high-quality, research-informed social work service to adults in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Conduct assessments and coordinate services for individuals wishing to remain at home or transitioning to care facilities. Formulate accurate assessments of complex psychosocial needs, providing support, advocacy, and guidance. Offer specialist social work advice within the Integrated Adult Community Care Team. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, integrating care and support plans that respect service users' diversity and rights. Provide training, consultation, and supervision to support the development of less experienced social workers and students, as delegated by the Senior Practitioner. Key Criteria Recognised Social Work qualification (Diploma, Degree in Social Work, or CQSW). Postgraduate study in a relevant area preferred. Experience in integrated adult community services. Valid driving licence. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Proven ability to manage complex caseloads with excellent time-management and problem-solving skills. Exceptional report writing and presentation abilities.
