We are looking for a Marketing Officer to evolve our brand and amplify our voice to inspire the community to support Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver marketing strategies to promote the charity’s mission and fundraising initiatives.
* Refine and maintain the charity’s brand across all communications, ensuring consistency and strong public recognition.
* Create and manage marketing timelines for multiple campaigns throughout the year.
* Develop and bring to life sub‑brands for key campaigns and projects.
* Produce engaging, high‑quality content for social media, websites, newsletters, and printed materials.
* Build social media plans that complement activity, including content planning, posting, monitoring, and responding to enquiries.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with local press and media outlets.
* Produce high‑quality, brand‑consistent press releases and media materials.
* Represent the charity at events, acting as a warm, welcoming ambassador across hospital sites.
* Engage regularly with members of the public, patients, volunteers, and supporters across hospital sites.
* Work closely with the Trust’s Communications Team to ensure alignment of messaging and activity.
* Collaborate effectively with the wider charity team to support shared goals and initiatives.
* Track and analyse service uptake, campaign performance, and engagement levels.
Qualifications
* Experience of developing and delivering engaging marketing or communications content.
* Evidence of contributing to long‑term organisational growth, brand evolution, and/or sustainability.
* Strong creative design skills, with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual assets across digital and print channels.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
About us
The successful candidate will join an experienced charity team. The busy nature of the charity requires good teamwork to ensure high standards of compliance and stewardship are maintained.
While the majority of work will take place Monday to Friday, weekends may be required.

£32,000 to £35,000 a year, pro rata per annum.
