Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to direct the operations of our restaurant and bar in a busy Golf Club. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and leadership, with a passion for culinary excellence. This role requires a hands-on approach to Managing staff and ensuring exceptional service standards are met.
Duties
* Manage daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Manage a team of waiting and bar staff in a busy Golf Club
* Manage current & future bookings
* Ensure a seamless guest experience for our Members & Guests.
* Manage inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock while minimising waste.
* Train new employees on service standards, food safety practices & allergies, and operational procedures to ensure a knowledgeable team.
* Monitor customer feedback, implement improvements, enhance service.
* Work with other departments to coordinate events and special functions
* You will be Line Manager to all F & B staff, reporting directly to the General Manager.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a management/supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.
* Management experience of Weddings and large events is preferred.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage.
* Excellent organisational and IT skills.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and guests
