The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
1. Work 1:1 and in small groups to support students with behavioural challenges.
2. Assist in promoting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
3. Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams to implement behaviour management strategies.
4. Act as a role model, fostering confidence and resilience in students.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
1. Has experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural or emotional difficulties.
2. Is patient, empathetic, and resilient with strong interpersonal skills.
3. Can remain calm under pressure and adapt to different situations.
4. Has knowledge of behaviour management techniques (preferred but not essential).
Experience in education, youth work, or SEN settings is highly desirable.
