• This position is part of the Pay Equity Analytics & Compliance Program (PEAC), which defines Amazon's global strategy for pay equity and manages statutory pay equity reporting obligations;
• A key priority is the Pay Transparency Program, focusing on global strategy and policy, taking an integrated approach to build a global service program to meet both statutory requirements and proactive employee-focused initiatives;
• The role is globally focused, covering legislation on pay transparency and pay equity reporting across all Amazon operating countries. With new regulations like the EU Pay Transparency Directive on the horizon, this role will enable Amazon to get ahead of requirements and exemplify global best practices;
• They will be expected to work hands-on as a single contributor. Partner with Compensation, PXT, and project teams to research evolving laws, develop mechanisms to facilitate compliance, monitor program effectiveness, and drive remediation efforts.

• Lead and deliver global pay equity and other HR compliance programs and projects, bringing together cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain project plans and deliverables timelines, respond to and troubleshoot project and program issues, including monitoring the portfolio across teams.
• Communicate effectively and facilitate discussions and decisions across all levels of the organization.
• Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship.
• Problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when necessary - sense of accountability and sound professional judgment.
