SEN Support Assistant
Salary: £90 - £110 per day (PAYE – no umbrella companies)
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Start Date: Immediate or January 2026

We’re looking for a kind, patient, and proactive SEN Support Assistant to join a brilliant special school supporting pupils with a range of complex needs — including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language delays, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
No two days will be the same, but everyone will make a difference. You’ll be part of a team that creates a safe, structured, and genuinely joyful space for children to learn, grow, and thrive.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups across different classes
2. Helping children access learning through tailored support and practical guidance
3. Using positive behaviour strategies to promote independence and confidence
4. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN specialists to meet EHCP targets
5. Bringing empathy, creativity, and consistency to every interaction

6. Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school, care, or community settings)
7. A calm, nurturing approach and a big dose of patience
8. A team player who’s flexible and ready to learn
