What you will enjoy doing
* You will ensure the roadworthiness, safekeeping, and cleanliness of the allocated vehicle
* You will complete daily pre-use inspection check sheets for your vehicle and any specialized equipment required for your tasks
* You shall operate specialized Linde equipment such as forklifts or cranes when necessary to load and unload vehicles
* You will apply defensive driving techniques and demonstrate knowledge of commercial driving regulations to guarantee the safe transit and delivery of cylinders
* You will deliver approximately 15–20 gas cylinders per day to customers in your area
* Furthermore, you will use safe manual handling techniques to deliver and collect cylinders from customers
* Lastly, you will uphold strict Health and Safety standards in all operations
What makes you great
* You are holding an HGV/LGV Cat C licence
* ADR (Class 2 in packages) desirable and training will be provided where appropriate
* A driver CPC is required
* Knowledge of Defensive driving and Driver Regulations, including HSA regulations
* Ability to interact with internal and external customers
* Having a high level of personal integrity suits to your profile
* Have held the LGV entitlement for a minimum of 2 years, for insurance purposes
