What you will take on
* Produce regular reports and carry out ad‑hoc analysis to identify trends, generate insights, and propose innovative solutions.
* Perform in‑depth analysis to identify risks and opportunities within existing processes and decisioning strategies.
* Work with multiple data sources using Microsoft Databricks to inform and enhance credit risk strategies.
* Collaborate with teams across the business—including contact centre, marketing, customer experience, and technology—to implement portfolio strategies.
* Develop expertise in credit risk, balancing commercial objectives with regulatory requirements.
* Present insights and strategic recommendations using data visualisation tools like PowerBi to stakeholders, influencing decision‑making.
What you will bring
The Credit & Risk team runs a business that generates >£180m profit annually. We’re seeking talented graduates who are motivated by high‑impact decision making and are commercially driven.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A predicted or achieved 2:1 degree (or above) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related/STEM discipline.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Excel and ideally, experience with SQL/Python or similar tools.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
* A proactive, driven attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
* Confidence in presenting insights and influencing decisions.
* A genuine desire to learn, develop, and build a long‑term career in Credit & Risk.
