I am seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join my renowned production engineering client based close to Heathrow Airport, West London. This is a permanent opportunity. As a Paint Sprayer within the MRO division, you will be responsible for preparing and applying protective and decorative aerospace coatings in accordance with OEM specifications and industry standards. Role: Paint Sprayer Location: Hayes, West London Shift: Week one: 06:00 - 14:00 Week two: 13:55 - 21:55 Salary: c. £34K - £38K incl. shift allowance Candidate must hold unrestricted rights to live and work in the UK. Main responsibilities: Preparing and applying aerospace-grade sealants and paint systems to manufacturer specifications Accurately mixing paints and sealing compounds to required ratios and quality standards Performing detailed masking and surface preparation of components Operating and maintaining spray equipment, booths, and associated tooling Monitoring spray booth and curing oven parameters to achieve optimal finish quality Adhering to environmental procedures, including safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials Maintaining a clean, compliant working environment in line with HSE regulations and 5S standards Ideal candidate profile: Engineering or similar apprenticeship (preferred) Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer (aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors preferred) within a controlled spray booth environment Strong understanding of surface preparation, coating systems, and quality control techniques Familiarity with aerospace paint systems (e.g., chromate primers, polyurethane topcoats) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and coating specifications High level of attention to detail and manual dexterity Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team Basic knowledge of health and safety practices relating to hazardous materials Well-organised, punctual, and quality-focused Flexible approach to working hours Strong team player with a proactive attitude Flexible in being able to work overtime, including weekends when necessary Holds unrestricted rights to live and work in the UK.
