Job Description

This position is only open to current employees of Brent Council or Temporary Agency Workers currently working in Brent Council.

Salary range: £50,574- £53,607 p.a. inc. London weighting

Contract: Permanent

Hours of work: 36 hours per week

Location: Civic centre and other locations from time to time

The Post

Come make a real difference as a Neighbourhood Manager
As part of our Neighbourhood Management team, you'll play a starring role in making the public realm, a clean and safe environment.

As one of our Neighbourhood Managers, you'll act as a conduit between residents and council services and work with the wider team and external partners to get the best outcomes.

You will have a direct link to the major contractors who provide a wide variety of services which impact the public realm.

You'll work hard to build communities and makes sure our neighbourhoods are places where our residents call home.

Spending your days out and about in the community, you'll be highly visible and the first point of contact for residents and stakeholders in your patch.

The Person

You'll be a true advocate for the resident, visitors and Councillors - building positive relationships and taking ownership of the issues and queries they raise with you. You'll work with the team and external partners to make sure these are resolved, and keeping resident, visitors and Councillors alike updated.

You'll get to know your patch and develop a deep understanding of their needs and the needs of the wider community, working together to prioritise and address these. As a true customer champion, you'll take a human-centric approach, implementing reasonable adjustments where required to make sure you are providing equitable services for all.
