Position Role: Provide a DefAc UK wide confidential, professional welfare support service to Tri-Service UK military cohort and International personnel studying or assigned to the Academy. Responsive to the needs of individuals and families. Facilitate as lead on Unit Health and Welfare Committee. Deputise and cover duties with the SO2 Welfare Officer. Responsibilities: 1.To support the SO2 Welfare Officer in providing DefAc UK wide confidential, professional welfare support service to Tri-Service UK military cohort and International personnel studying or assigned to the Academy. 2.To provide advice and guidance to the Chain of Command on all matters relating to wellbeing and welfare matters 3.To operate as the Health, Safety and Fire Custodian for the Welfare Buildings including Welfare Houses. 4.Manage and administer WISMIS and the VRM Systems pending appointment of Stn Adjt/XO. 5.Facilitate the Unit Health and Welfare Committees and deputise in the absence of the SO2 Welfare Officer pending appointment of Stn XO/Adjt 6.Contribute to developing and maintaining relationships with external agencies and housing providers.
