Senior Project Manager – Engineering & Clean Technology Projects
We’re looking for an experienced and adaptable project manager to lead a range of engineering initiatives within a growing organisation focused on clean technology solutions. This is a hands-on delivery role that involves managing technical projects from early development through to implementation, working closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As Senior Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of multiple concurrent projects, guiding them from concept to completion. You’ll coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, maintain oversight of budgets and timelines, and ensure effective communication across stakeholders. This role also offers the opportunity to shape project delivery practices and mentor junior team members within an expanding and ambitious company.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex engineering projects through structured development stages
Coordinate activities across mechanical, electrical, and software teams
Track and manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and resources
Communicate progress clearly to stakeholders at all levels
Maintain key project documentation, including risk registers and schedules
Promote continuous improvement and lean project delivery principles
Support and mentor junior project managers
What We’re Looking For
Proven track record managing technical projects in an engineering environment (e.g. hydrogen, fuel cells, chemical/process engineering)
Strong understanding of structured product development processes
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Adaptable, detail-oriented, and highly organised
Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software
Qualifications
Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent technical background
Project management certification (e.g. APM PMQ, PMBP, PRINCE II) preferred
