We are seeking a part-time locum consultant for a 12‑month fixed-term appointment, working 9.25 days per week at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Responsibilities
* Deliver systemic anti‑cancer therapy (SACT) and radiotherapy, including stereotactic ablative radiotherapy, to the lung and CNS multidisciplinary teams.
* See approximately 300 new patients annually.
* Participate in a 1:13 on‑call rota, and be involved in clinical governance activities such as audit, quality improvement, guideline development, professional development, appraisal and risk management.
* Serve as a member of the Consultant Staff Committee.
* Act as a role model and uphold the Trust’s PRIDE values.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Primary interest in lung and CNS cancers, with flexibility for other tumour sites.
* Clinical oncologist background; GMC licence to practice required.
* Minimum criteria for the post as set by the Trust.
