Colchester United Community Foundation (CUCF) has an exciting opportunity available!
CUCF is the official charity partner for Colchester United Football Club, providing high-quality community programmes to 9,000 children, young people, and adults weekly across the region, including support for the Colchester United Women's Team.
Are you a talented and committed Head Coach interested in leading the Colchester United Community Foundation Women's Team?
If you have experience and/or passion for women's football and senior women's coaching, this role offers a fantastic opportunity. Join our Women's Coaching Team as the leading figure at the top of our women's pathway.
Responsibilities include working with the Women's Team Committee, Assistant Coach, and staff; planning and delivering training; managing staff and players; recruitment; matchdays; press duties; fan engagement; and attending club events. The role requires leadership, creativity, resilience, and the ability to inspire both on and off the pitch.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum UEFA C Coaching Award (or enrolled)
* FA Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAiF)
* FA Safeguarding Children
* Willing to undergo CUFC Enhanced DBS Check
* Full Clean UK Driving License
* Experience coaching in senior women's football and understanding female athletes' needs
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop
* Build positive relationships with colleagues, volunteers, players, committee members, and supporters during training and matches.
Deliver
* Provide high-quality coaching and matchday experiences for players.
Support
* Assist with recruitment, development, and engagement of players to meet KPIs.
Collaborate
* Work with colleagues, volunteers, players, and committee members to maximize impact and help players reach their potential.
Evaluate
* Assess player development and coaching impact through Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
* Showcase team success and progress.
