About the Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, the 3D Design Engineer will provide mechanical design input to support operational andmercial teams. The role involves producing mechanical schematics, layouts, and assembly drawings to meet customer specifications and industry standards. You will play a key part in improving efficiencies in material and labour usage and assist the manufacturing team in resolving design-related challenges.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide design support for tenders and new enquiries
2. Produce schematic and assembly drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D
3. Ensure system designs adhere to customer User Requirement Specifications (URS)
4. Identify and rectify engineering drawing and material errors
5. Attend production and design meetings as required
6. Collaborate with project managers and the manufacturing team
7. Engage with clients, designers, and consultants when necessary
Required Skills & Experience
8. Degree in Engineering or Design (preferred)
9. Experience in HVAC, M&E design, or similar fields
10. Expertise in mechanical and piping CAD design
11. Proven track record in designing multi-functional heating systems
12. Proficiency in 3D CAD software
13. Background in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering, including structural drawings
14. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
15. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
