Home Delivery Co-ordinator
We are currently seeking a Home Delivery Co-ordinator to join our growing team at Shackletons Home & Garden Centre.
Working closely with the Home Delivery Distribution Manager to assist with the smooth and efficient running of our home delivery service. You will be mainly office based, working in what can be a fast-paced environment at peak times.
Responsibilities:
* Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
* Assist with the Logistics Manager to plan delivery schedules and routes
* Liaise with delivery drivers regarding agreed schedules and routes
* Booking deliveries with couriers and organising associated paperwork
* Liaise with customers regarding delivery enquiries
* Assist with preparing goods for delivery when needed
* Liaise with suppliers regarding booking in deliveries
* Support the team with processing invoices
* Keep accurate records and document actions on the computer system
* Support the team with various administrative tasks
* Liaising with other departments throughout the business
Skills needed:
* 3 years previous logistics experience
* Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* IT literate and use of GoogleMaps
* self-motivated and enthusiastic
* Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
* Happy to be 'hands on' when required
PAY: dependant on experience
