Overview
Psychology Degree Holder Mental Health Assistant. Roles start as soon as possible in schools across Stoke, Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire, and Cheshire. The schools are particularly interested in Psychology and Criminology degree holders who aspire to Education Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist/Occupational Therapist roles, and who are keen to gain experience with SEN or SEMH students.
About the role
We are working with schools that cater for children with SEN, SEMH, social, emotional, or mental health needs. You are someone who is passionate about working with children with additional needs and is up for an exciting, challenging, rewarding role. Some experience working with children in various settings is beneficial, but personality and motivation in this field are equally important. Pupils may have needs including SEMH, Autism and behavioural difficulties; schools are looking for committed individuals with a drive to progress.

* Passion for working with children with SEMH/SEN; willingness to develop experience in this field
* Some prior experience with children is beneficial, but motivation and commitment are key
