We are working with welcoming primary and secondary schools across Colchester who are seeking dedicated LSAs to provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. These roles are ideal for someone patient, nurturing, and confident in supporting individual learning and wellbeing.
The Role
As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Provide tailored support to a pupil with SEN or additional needs
* Support learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation
* Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs
* Help pupils build confidence, independence, and engagement
* Follow EHCP targets, safeguarding, and school policies
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience as an LSA/TA, ideally with SEN or 1:1 support
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
* Reliability, professionalism, and adaptability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
