About Us Were a growing mechanical & electrical services company delivering high-quality projects across commercial, industrial and education sites. Due to continued expansion, were looking for an experienced HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer to join our team and lead this division of the business. The Role Install, service, maintain and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems (including splits/VRV/VRF, ventilation, heat pumps, cold rooms and associated controls). Youll complete PPM and reactive tasks, diagnose faults, and produce accurate job and compliance paperwork while providing excellent customer service on site. Key Responsibilities PPM, reactive maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on HVAC/Refrigeration systems Installation and commissioning of A/C and refrigeration equipment Completing service sheets, risk assessments and compliance documentation Liaising with clients/site teams; upholding H&S and company procedures Participating in the out-of-hours/call-out rota (paid) Team leader. Requirements (Essential) 5 years commercial HVAC/Refrigeration experience (or demonstrable equivalent competence) F-Gas Category 1 certification NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent) Strong electrical diagnostics and controls experience Full, valid driving licence (able to drive a company van) Able to meet the roles travel and on-site demands (reasonable adjustments considered) Experience in team management Right to work in the UK Desirable Gas Safe certification CSCS card IPAF / PASMA Experience on education and wider commercial estates Safeguarding & Vetting This role may involve attendance at schools and other regulated sites. Appointment will therefore be subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS (child workforce) where required by the site, identity and right-to-work checks, and references.
