The role
Forge Talent is partnering with a growing owner-managed services business to appoint a commercially aware Finance Manager to support the next phase of its expansion.
This is a broad, newly created and hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of delivering high-quality financial reporting, while providing clear insight to support decision-making across the organisation. Alongside core reporting responsibilities, you’ll play a key role in strengthening controls, improving processes, and helping to shape a scalable finance function. Reporting to the Finance Director
Key responsibilities includ
- e:Production of monthly management accounts across the group, including full P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting, with clear variance analysis and commenta
- ryOwnership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of any issu
- esOversight of day-to-day finance operations, including purchase ledger, sales ledger and payro
- llSupporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, partnering with operational stakeholde
- rsResponsibility for HMRC submissions and ongoing compliance requiremen
- tsIdentifying opportunities to drive cost efficiencies and improve financial performan
- ceReviewing and enhancing existing systems, processes and internal contro
- lsLeading the year-end process and managing relationships with external auditors and advis
