Account Manager
Manchester’s Finest Group
Position: Full-time, Northern Quarter, Manchester
Salary: £30–£34k DOE + commission on upsells and client renewals
We’re looking for an ambitious and relationship-driven Account Manager to join
Manchester’s Finest Group – the city’s largest and most influential lifestyle and culture
platform.
As Account Manager, you’ll be at the heart of that work – building relationships, leading
campaigns, and driving long-term partnerships that reach millions of people every
month. You’ll act as a trusted adviser to clients and an advocate within our content
team, taking responsibility for strategy, delivery, and growth across your accounts. A key
part of the role will be upselling additional opportunities and renewing client
contracts to ensure lasting success for both clients and Manchester’s Finest.
A genuine passion for Manchester’s food, drink, arts, music, and culture will be a strong
advantage. The role is primarily Monday–Friday, though some evening and weekend
work will be required to support client activity and events. This is a rare opportunity to
join a respected, independent media company with a strong foothold in Manchester’s
cultural landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own client relationships – managing a portfolio of accounts as their main point
of contact and trusted adviser.
• Deliver results – oversee campaigns from concept through to execution,
ensuring they meet (and exceed) expectations.
• Shape strategy – develop creative media plans and content solutions tailored to
each client’s objectives.
• Upsell and renew – identify opportunities to extend campaigns, secure contract
renewals, and grow account value.
• Champion collaboration – work closely with our Head of Content Operations
and wider team to ensure smooth delivery.
• Measure impact – track performance, produce clear reports and case studies,
and recommend future improvements.
• Solve challenges – troubleshoot campaign issues quickly, always balancing
client needs with Manchester’s Finest’s best interests.
• Add value – proactively bring fresh ideas to the table to maximise impact for
both clients and audience.
What We’re Looking For:
• At least 2 years’ experience in a client-facing role within a digital media company
or agency.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships and deliver innovative campaign
ideas.
• Experience in upselling and renewing client contracts to drive account growth.
• Creative thinking with the drive to see ideas through to execution.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Passion for Manchester’s independent food, drink, culture, and lifestyle scene.
• Flexible and willing to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
