Time for a change?
A History Teacher is needed for a lovely secondary school in the Durham area. This full time role is to start as soon as possible and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year in July 2025. This role is to teach History to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
This lovely school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.
The ideal History Teacher candidate would:
1. Have a passion teaching History
2. Have excellent subject knowledge
3. Be able to organise themselves
4. Be able to engage with children in a proactive way
We are keen to hear from both experienced History teachers or ECTs.

In addition, you must:

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on where you are on the National Teacher Payscales and the level of experience that you have to date.
