Role Overview: The Materials Recovery & Recycling Operator will play a vital role in efficiently managing post-consumer materials and packaging streams across the site, ensuring cleanliness and timely processing. Key Responsibilities: Record and track material/packaging movements, ensuring accuracy in IFS and timely paperwork processing. Prevent cross-contamination when processing scrap and end-of-life products. Support the Compounding department with quality scrap processing. Contribute to the development and improvement of operational procedures. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and implementing the Operation Clean Sweep initiative. Operate equipment safely and in compliance with health and safety guidelines, including PPE requirements. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. Report issues that may impact operations to the Line Manager. Required Qualifications & Skills: GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or equivalent). FLT Licence (essential). WAMITAB certification (desirable). Experience in waste management and manufacturing environments (advantageous).
