Due to an ever increasing workload, they are currently looking to recruit a mechanical focused Manufacturing Engineer to join their dedicated team of professionals to be based out of their impressive operations in Preston, Lancs. This is an initial 6 month contract and is paying a rate of £24.75Ltd per hour. Please find the role description below:Job DescriptionAn opportunity to join a growing capability supporting multiple Aircraft maintenance and upgrade contracts.To provide Mechanical Manufacturing engineering mod embodiment engineering to engineer the kit set contents including establishing the CoS Condition of Supply. Knowledge of Mechanical installation on aircraft is required along with competence in the use of engineering toolsets such as HMScapp, DPDS DMS.Key responsibilities - 1 Interpreting approved data and design data to produce manufacturing instructions, resolve non - conformances and continuously improve the assembly of the aircraft build, manufacturing and test programmes as required.2 Assist in the timely delivery of major tasks and other delegated responsibilities that ensure the smooth running of the department.3 Responsible to the Engineering Team Leader for the production and delivery to schedule, cost and quality of engineering work packages defining integrated modification upgrades and repairs.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role.
