What you’ll be doing… This is a pivotal role ensuring that all food production is delivered safely, consistently, and cost-effectively across match-days, hospitality suites, large-scale banqueting, and corporate events. Overseeing the day‑to‑day running of all stadium kitchens, ensuring smooth service and full compliance with operational, hygiene, and event standards. Managing kitchen labour efficiently, including rotas, agency usage, scheduling, and payroll controls to meet budget targets. Leading on food safety, allergen management, HACCP, COSHH, and statutory compliance, ensuring accurate records, labelling, and reporting. Taking ownership of cleaning schedules and hygiene audits, ensuring all kitchen and storage areas remain safe, compliant, and well‑organised. Supporting and developing chefs, porters, and agency staff, fostering a positive, safe, and high‑performing team culture. Working closely with the Executive Head Chef and wider operational teams to deliver seamless service on match days, events, and hospitality. Managing ordering, deliveries, stock rotation, and waste reduction to support accurate stock control and cost efficiency. Strong financial awareness with experience controlling labour, food costs, waste, and budgets. Excellent knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP, COSHH, allergen protocols, and hygiene compliance. Outstanding organisation, communication, and team‑leadership skills, with the ability to stay calm and effective in a fast‑paced environment. A proactive approach to maintaining a safe, positive, and compliant workplace for all kitchen staff. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and all home match days, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
