Role: Teaching Assistant (Maternity Cover)
Location: Jubilee School, Waterlooville PO7 7RE
Salary: £22,300.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm
Contract: Fixed Term (Until December 2026), Term Time Only
Start: December 2025

About The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly with pupils, helping to ensure they get the best from their education. You will prepare learning materials, run classroom activities, and provide supervision as needed. You will support pupils with their emotional and physical needs, helping them develop as individuals and engage with the world. Everyday work will be varied, with support and guidance available to help you progress in your career.

The successful applicant will be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, indoors and outdoors according to individual needs. You should take a responsive and caring approach, be capable of leading classroom activities, supervising pupils, and supporting learning. Our schools are built on teamwork and mutual support.
Qualifications
* Previous experience and/ or GCSE English and Maths

Jubilee School is linked with four residential accommodations and is located in Waterlooville, just outside Portsmouth. 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit. You’ll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, where applicable.
