Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team in a dynamic office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to managing tasks. This role involves providing essential clerical support, ensuring efficient office operations, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team.
Working as part of a team, you will provide accurate and effective administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of Fleetwood Town Council. Be the first point of contact for customer queries and requests and ensure that work is resolved satisfactorily to agreed timescales.
Work with colleagues and Town Councillors to support the delivery of Fleetwood Town Council's aims and objectives, including occasional working outside of normal office hours.
Have responsibility for and manage the output of Fleetwood Town Council's social media accounts, using them effectively to promote activities and events.
Prepare minutes, meetings and agendas for Council meetings. Issue and publish those in line with required timeframes, ensuring accuracy at all times.
