About the Business:
The Salvation Army Driver Programmes Service has operated in Christchurch since 2014 and the rural community since 2020. It delivers community Driver Programmes to people and removes the barriers of access, equity, and safety to gaining a practical license. The Driver Programmes focus on supporting people who are facing challenges in attaining their restricted and full licenses while working with a diversity of people in our community.
About the Role:
The Administrator provides regional administrative and operational support to the wider Driver Programme team, with a particular focus on Christchurch programmes and high-volume administrative workflows. This role acts as a central filtering, coordination, and systems-support function across multiple locations.
What will your responsibilities be:
4. Manage the Driver Programme generic inbox, responding to and organising all enquiries
5. Review, triage, and filter participant enquiries against programme criteria
6. Allocate and forward enquiries to appropriate rural locations and Coordinators
7. Maintain accurate records and ensure data is up to date across systems and spreadsheets
8. Support programme coordination, including paid lesson administration and reporting

9. Be highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume admin
10. Have excellent written communication skills and confidence managing email enquiries
11. Be able to assess information, apply criteria, and make sound administrative decisions
12. Be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently within a team environment
13. Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to equitable service delivery

This role is permanent part time and hours worked will be 10 per week.
The starting salary for this role will fall between $15,000 and $16,500 pro rata per annum.
The starting hourly rate for this role will fall between $29 and $32 per hour.
