Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Specialist to lead the design, development, and governance of innovative digital solutions that drive business transformation.
In this remote‑working role, you will build scalable applications, automate processes, and manage migrations to SharePoint Online, collaborating with global teams to maximize platform potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development, deployment, and governance of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint environments, ensuring alignment with best practices.
* Support and maintain the SharePoint and Power Platform estate, including existing apps, flows, and divisional SharePoint sites, while driving new developments.
* Oversee technical direction for migrations from on‑premises and other storage solutions to SharePoint Online, collaborating with Group IT and stakeholders.
* Provide second‑ and third‑line support for Power Platform services, deliver user training, mentor citizen developers, and ensure effective handovers.
* Ensure adherence to change control processes, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to the IT knowledge base.
* Build insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI, collaborating with the BI team, and stay current with Microsoft updates to recommend adoption strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
* Microsoft certifications (PL‑600, PL‑400, PL‑200); desirable: Prince2 Practitioner and ITIL awareness.
* Strong knowledge of SharePoint 365 (permissions, document management, page editing) and migration from older versions.
* Experience designing, implementing, and governing SharePoint solutions (intranets, workflows, security, compliance).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform with 2+ years’ experience.
* Understanding of Microsoft Dataverse, Teams, Dynamics 365; Power BI reporting and dashboards.
* Knowledge of SharePoint client‑side development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and basic C#, SQL.
* Familiarity with Power Platform CLI, ALM, and Git/DevOps pipelines.
* Ability to debug/fix PowerShell scripts.
* Project management skills (Microsoft Project, Visio) and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
* Experience handling demanding workloads.
