Job Title: Machine Operator/Quality Control

Your Responsibilities
* Operate plant equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervision instructions.
* Document your work accurately and neatly to maintain quality standards.
* Adjust equipment and process settings to ensure production aligns with SOPs.
* Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safety and proper processing.
* Perform routine analytical testing to control the process efficiently.
* Complete daily shift production logs to track progress.
* Collaborate closely with a small team during shifts to achieve common goals.
* Run fermentation processes, make necessary adjustments, complete batch records, run sterilizations, and handle product granulation.
What You Bring to the Table
Essential Skills
* Experience in machine operation and quality control.
* Proficiency in documentation and general production.
* Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools.
* Ability to read blueprints and perform mechanical assembly.
* Experience in pharmaceutical, packaging, food manufacturing, fermentation, and biomedical industries.
Additional Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment
Our biomedical manufacturing plant offers a dynamic work environment with varying temperatures and exposure to dust, fumes, and moderate to loud noises. Safety is our priority, and you will be trained to adhere to all safety precautions while working with heavy machinery, including driving a forklift. You should be able to lift, pull, carry, and pick up objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based in Bangor, Michigan.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
