Walton Lodge Veterinary Group is looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a maternity cover basis at our Ware practice. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established, growing veterinary group dedicated to high-quality patient care. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with flexible shift patterns to support work-life balance. The role includes working 1 in 9 Saturdays from 9am to 2pm at our Ware hospital, with no out-of-hours commitments, ensuring a structured schedule.

Founded in September 2000 by Helen Lee BVSc, MRCVS, and her partner Rodney Pugh, Walton Lodge Veterinary Group has expanded to six surgeries across Bengeo, Bishop's Stortford, Harlow, Hoddesdon, Stevenage, and Ware. Our recent expansions include new practices in Stevenage and Hoddesdon, and our Ware practice has been fully refitted with modern facilities and excellent transport links.
We invest in cutting-edge technology such as digital radiography, high-speed colour Doppler ultrasound, digital endoscopy, dental scalers, and advanced anaesthetic monitoring. Our team comprises 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses, and 11 Receptionists, working collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes.
Helen Lee, our senior Veterinary Surgeon, qualified from Bristol University in 1984 and has been serving Hertfordshire since 1985. Her extensive experience, along with our team’s expertise, provides a fantastic learning environment.
