Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Salary: Up to £36,700 + on call payment, and company vehicle- opportunity for overtime
Location: Aldermaston
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm
About the Company:
Outsource UK's client are a global bulk hazardous liquid storage and distribution organization, seeking a Mechanical Technician to join their team in the Aldermaston area
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment within the plant, in line with the Asset Maintenance Management System (Maximo). This includes inspecting, repairing, and maintaining pumps, valves, compressors, and other mechanical systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
2. Respond to maintenance alerts and potential issues proactively. Address defects, breakdowns, and operational changes promptly to ensure minimal disruption to operations. This may require troubleshooting mechanical issues, making temporary repairs, or escalating to more senior staff as needed.
3. Work closely with the operations and technical teams to assess plant performance and resolve defects. Provide clear, concise information to relevant managerial and technical staff about any ongoing issues, repairs, or modifications being made to plant equipment.
