About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person working here understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and by joining us, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to those people.
We have 44 hours day shift and 44 hours night shift available.
Your role involves planning and delivering care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You'll get to know our residents and their families, helping ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, or communicating with families, you'll do so with kindness.
You'll assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through activities, and administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key responsibilities. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to work towards Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. Your positive energy, ability to communicate kindly, and effective time management are essential.
