Job Description
3. Prepare and finalise month-end financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
4. Reconcile balance sheets and maintain detailed records for audit purposes.
5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support organisational planning.
6. Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
7. Liaise with internal departments to gather necessary financial information.
8. Maintain compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
9. Support the wider Accounting & Finance team during audits and year-end processes.
10. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Month End Accountant should have:
11. A professional qualification or relevant training in Accounting & Finance.
12. Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in month-end processes.
13. Experience working within the not-for-profit sector is advantageous.
14. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
15. An analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
16. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
