Provide highly specialist pharmacist input to patient care, promoting medicines optimisation for patients Provide a safe and effective advanced clinical pharmacy service to the gynaecology directorate Liaise with appropriate healthcare professionals within other secondary care trusts to ensure the effective and efficient use of resources during the transfer of babies and where necessary, develop relevant protocols Support the Chief Pharmacist and Deputy Chief Pharmacist and other senior pharmacy managers in developing and implementing the strategic goals for the department. Participate in other management responsibilities including, performance review, sickness and absence monitoring, formal investigations as delegated.
