Duty Manager - Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre
Doncaster Culture & Leisure Trust (DCLT) is currently seeking an ambitious, proactive, and self-motivated individual to assist in the continued development of our Campsite and Holiday Activities.

Position: Duty Manager - Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre
Salary: £26,528.00 per annum
Hours: Average of 37hrs, may include days, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays
About the role: The Duty Manager will oversee all related operational responsibilities on a day to day basis including - Campsite, Lake, Aqua Park, Boat Hire, the climbing wall, Archery, Axe Throwing as well as catering and retail opportunities
We need a Duty Manager who will…
1. Be passionate and determined to drive forward the centre
2. Be an ambassador for the brand and being the main point of contact between the staff and guests at all times during duty.
3. Maintain the high level of standards and cleanliness throughout the site grounds and buildings
4. Manage health, safety and quality standards within the centre.
5. Have a flexible approach to work, be prepared to adapt and perform duties which may not fit your remit but where the business dictates a need for assistance to ensure service and standards are maintained.
This role would suit someone looking for a new challenge or someone wanting progression. It is vital that candidates are driven with high customer service standards.
The position is a ‘hands on’ role, working at the front line. As the responsible Duty Manager on site they will lead and motivate all contracted and casual colleagues to deliver high standards of customer service and care whilst driving centre sales.
As one of the Duty Managers you will report to the General Manger and work with The Retail and Hospitality Manager on driving sales and standards within the site
About you:
You may already work within a Leisure Environment as an Assistant Manager or Duty Manager looking for a new Challenge. We are looking for a Duty Manager with
6. Proven experience leading teams in an Activities & Leisure or similar environment
7. Experience in managing operations, performance, resources.
8. The ability to confidently deal with Guest concerns and resolve problems.
You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to motivate a team. You believe in a customer centric approach and are passionate about ensuring every employee inspires to achieve your same standard. You will have the ability to identify and demonstrate expected standards and develop staff to achieve excellence.
