Job Introduction
Wallop Primary School is seeking a highly organised, efficient and enthusiastic individual to join our warm and hardworking team.
Our friendly village school is on an exciting journey, and this role will be key to ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school, while also playing an integral part at both a strategic and operational level, working closely with the headteacher. The successful candidate will manage the administrative and financial aspects of the school, including supporting the headteacher in preparing, managing and monitoring the school budget, as well as undertaking key HR responsibilities. Excellent people skills are essential, along with the confidence to support a wide range of stakeholders and provide a positive, welcoming presence for our children, parents and visitors.
This position requires a minimum of 30 hours per week, however we are happy to discuss flexibility around hours and working days for the right candidate. The role is for at least 39 weeks per year (term time plus one additional week during the school holidays), with the possibility of negotiating the total weeks worked.

We are looking for someone who:
* Always places children at the centre of decision making
* Is committed to safeguarding and health and safety
* Has experience in financial administration, ideally in an educational setting (or is willing to learn)
* Can use Hampshire County Council's systems and administration processes (training will be provided)
* Can manage, prioritise and meet deadlines for both school and local authority requirements
* Shows initiative and thrives on a positive, 'can-do' approach
* Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates high levels of integrity
* Is willing to support first aid and medical needs (training will be provided)
* Demonstrates resilience, flexibility and reflection
* Can adapt to the changing needs of the school and its pupils on a daily basis
