What we're looking for:
Step into a role where your leadership sets the tone for excellence across our Wholesale, Foodservice and Smaller Manufacturers channels. You'll guide and uplift a dedicated team, creating a supportive, high‑performing environment where clear expectations, thoughtful coaching and genuine customer focus come together. With a strong commercial instinct, you'll shape and deliver the strategy for wholesale, foodservice and craft baker customers, underpinned by robust forecasting, pipeline management and transparent reporting. You'll also help strengthen WBL's market presence through smart pricing decisions, aligned NPD, improved packaging and an enhanced service model. By crafting structured, insight‑driven account plans rooted in customer needs and market trends, you'll play a central role in driving meaningful growth and long‑term customer loyalty.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven track record in sales leadership within wholesale, foodservice, FMCG or related food industry channels
Demonstrable success managing distributors, foodservice operators, craft bakeries or smaller manufacturer relationships
Strong commercial acumen with experience developing and executing channel-specific strategies
Excellent negotiation, relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills
Experience coaching and developing high‑performing commercial teams
Confident communicator able to influence customers, partners and internal teams at all levels
Desirable:
Understanding of indirect supply chains, distributor models and multi‑tiered pricing structures.
Exposure to technical or specification-driven product categories.
