This job will be perfect for someone early career, maybe a couple of years out of college. It's a Production Engineer/Assembly technician job - need to be early career enough that spending a day or two preparing wires for example won't be seen as beneath them, but at the same time with some spark/interest in learning to want to grow in the long term with this company, where in the longer term there will be lots of opportunity. Key responsibilities of the role:
* Assembly of electronic devices
* Assisting with stock management
* Investigation of returned devices to establish problems and then repairing them
* Assisting with rental stock maintenance programme, both regular service schedule and in-service repair
Requirements:
You will need to:
* be self motivated and good at managing your own time
* demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
* have an understanding of fault finding, be able to follow a logical process to determine a fault
* follow established admin systems, and help to improve them
* ideally have some basic soldering experience, but it's not a deal breaker if not, just so long as you have somewhat of an engineering type mind, and have capability with hand tools and an ability/willingness to learn
