Job Description
Anderson Frank are working with a global consultancy, seeking an experienced Global Senior Financial Accountant to lead and optimise their worldwide financial accounting operations within NetSuite ERP. This pivotal role supports multi-region finance activities, drives standardisation across entities, and ensures excellence in global reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
* Prepare and review consolidated financial statements within NetSuite.
* Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and multi-entity consolidations.
* Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local statutory requirements across jurisdictions.
Month-End & Year-End Close
* Lead and oversee the global close process via NetSuite.
* Perform reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and drive timely resolution.
Process Optimisation
* Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency within accounting workflows.
* Support ongoing ERP improvements and standardise processes globally.
* Champion best practices across regional teams.
Audit & Compliance
* Maintain high-quality documentation for internal and external audits.
* Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance within NetSuite.
Training & Support
* Serve as the NetSuite subject matter expert for accounting functions.
* Provide training, coaching, and day-to-day support to finance teams worldwide.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Partner with operations, finance, and technology teams to align and integrate financial processes.
Environment, Health, Safety & Compliance
* Adhere to internal compliance requirements.
* Complete required compliance training and actively contribute to a safe working environment.
Experience & Qualifications:
Technical & Professional Experience
* Minimum 5 years' accounting experience, ideally with global exposure.
* At least 2 years of recent hands-on NetSuite ERP experience.
* Strong understanding of global accounting standards and multi-currency environments.
* Experience in multi-entity or international organisations.
* Exposure to NetSuite ERP implementations or system optimisation projects.
* Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction tax compliance considered an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
* Advanced proficiency in NetSuite financial modules and reporting tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Education & Certifications
* Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* NetSuite certification is highly desirable.
