Principal People are currently recruiting for an Interim Health and Safety Advisor in partnership with a highly renowned infrastructure organisation to be covering an M&E based project with a prestigious client of theirs acting as Principal Contractor. This project is based in the Belfast area and will be an initial 3-month contract with possibility of extension. This is a fully site-based requirement and is offering £40-45/hour (INSIDE IR35) Key Responsibilities: Operational site inspections and audits. Delivering Health and Safety operational support to the organisation. Produce Health and Safety reporting. Demonstrate strong engagement in relation to H&S to all site teams and contractors Assist in site induction processes Act as the focal point for all H&S issues on site Make sure all contractor compliance is correct. The Successful Health and Safety Advisor will hold: NEBOSH Construction Certificate (General Certificate may be considered with the right experience) Hold strong construction project experience understanding all elements of a construction project Have a strong working knowledge of CDM regulations and responsibilities. Ideally have acted as Principal Contractor and understand the responsibilities of the PC, Client and sub-contractors. Ideally hold M&E project experience Experience of undertaking site based operational H&S duties Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
