Our client, a global leader in their field, is looking for a Head of Compliance (Advisory) to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer, who is hugely inspirational. They are seeking someone to work in partnership with them to build best-in-class compliance teams in the UK and internationally.
The role includes:
* Working closely with the business to ensure activities comply with policies, laws, and regulations
* Providing strategic oversight, interpreting regulations, and engaging stakeholders to anticipate risks and influence decisions
* Leading and developing compliance programs such as policy development, third-party due diligence, and sanctions programs
* Managing global and strategic projects to enhance compliance with laws and regulations
* Designing controls and mitigation strategies
* Assisting in designing new initiatives compliantly
* Implementing compliance policies and training internationally
* Engaging with senior stakeholders with professionalism and integrity
Candidate requirements:
* Extensive experience in compliance, especially sanctions and third-party due diligence
* Experience in a global leadership role
* Proven ability to develop compliance programs
* Exceptional project management skills, capable of leading large-scale transformations
* Operational and strategic mindset, with a focus on delivering results
