Postperson with Driving – Royal Mail
Accelerate your career as a delivery Postie with Royal Mail at our Stratford Delivery Office. This permanent contract role requires 37 hours per week, with a mix of early morning and evening shifts across weekdays and occasional Sundays (1 in 6).
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver letters, parcels and other postal items across the local community on scheduled routes.
* Operate a UK‑registered manual vehicle safely and efficiently under all weather conditions.
* Adhere to Royal Mail policies, health and safety, and best practice for customer service.
* Work with a team to meet daily delivery targets and maintain accurate delivery records.
* Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any incidents or delays.
About You
* Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
* Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
* People‑oriented with a friendly presence in the community.
* Able to walk long periods and work outdoors in any weather.
* Strong sense of community pride.
* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Additional Information
Full‑time contracts are for 35–40 hours per week. Any role under 40 hours per week is contracted as part‑time.
