High School Leadership Program On Site Co-Director
Twin Rocks Friends Camp’s Servant Leadership Program (SLP) is a five-week summer program for a select group of high school students, chosen for their strong commitment to serving Christ through serving others. It is an incredible opportunity to learn more about leadership, ministry, and service within a fun and Christ-centered community.
Purpose for the Position:
Twin Rocks Friends Camp & Conference Center takes joy in providing camps and retreats at the Oregon Coast for kids, youth, adults, and families, each with a common purpose: to use God’s creation and a Christ-centered environment to promote personal growth and devotion to Jesus Christ.
Primary Duties
* Arriving 1-2 weeks prior to the SLP team members for training, orientation planning, and curriculum development.
* Living alongside SLP team members on site at Twin Rocks and holding them accountable to lights out, inclusive relationship building, and other personnel policies.
* Providing a positive atmosphere of respect and creativity where high school youth can feel free to be themselves and grow in Christ.
* Transporting SLP team members as programming dictates to and from TRFC.
* Leading a weekly curriculum centered on Christ-like service and leadership for workshop/worship times.
* Demonstrating Christ-like leadership through teaching, working, and leading.
* Facilitating community building activities.
* Working with the Director of Programs and Discipleship in resolving discipline issues.
* Discipling SLP members in group and one-on-one discussions and Bible studies.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
* Attitude of service and commitment to Twin Rocks Friends Camp and its ministry.
* Possess an evangelical Christian commitment and lifestyle consistent with the organization’s goals, including a signed agreement with Twin Rocks’ statement of faith and lifestyle expectations.
* Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and over the phone.
* Previous camp program administrative experience and training preferred.
* Ability to successfully supervise small teams.
* Ability to undertake and take initiative of “essential responsibilities” in a timely, friendly, respectful, detail-oriented manner both independently and with a team.
* Fosters a professional working environment.
* Preferred, but not essential: Background and involvement with evangelical Friends Church and/or Twin Rocks Friends Camp.
Skills and Abilities
* Maintain a viable, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and exemplify that relationship in daily life.
* Ability to work with other staff in planning logistics and other decision making.
* Self-motivated person who can anticipate the needs of staff and campers.
* Ability to handle multiple projects and issues at the same time and yet maintain a positive attitude.
* Ability to interact extremely well with others, including campers, co-workers, and parents.
Environmental Conditions & Physical Demands
It is extremely helpful to be in good physical condition and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. This person will need to be open to other duties as assigned, including periodically working in other departments. Duties will sometimes include food service preparation, dishwashing, guest hosting, and cabin cleaning, among others.
Language Development
Able to communicate clearly – verbally and in writing – in English with staff, guests, vendors, and volunteers. Proficiency in other languages – especially Spanish – is helpful.
Compensation
This is a seasonal, temporary position from June 7-August 1, 2026. Compensation is $4,000, plus meals and housing.

Twin Rocks Director of Programs and Discipleship.
