About the Role
Ageas Insurance is seeking an experienced Head of FP&A Data & Analytics to lead the FP&A Decision Support team. This role involves leveraging data and analytics to drive strategic decision-making, developing the FP&A structure to support organisational transformation, and optimizing expense management.
The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of robust financial models, forecasting processes, and performance metrics to ensure accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis.
Main Responsibilities
* Oversee the development and execution of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
* Leverage advanced data analytics to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
* Support business growth initiatives through financial analysis and scenario planning.
* Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Support the business in all integration activities, leading FP&A efforts in delivering new organisational structures and performance management frameworks.
Skills and Experience
* Exemplary stakeholder management skills, including influencing across senior insurance stakeholders such as the CEO, Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, and Distribution.
* Significant experience in business partnering support, including performance metrics, distribution approach, and proposal evaluation.
* Ability to understand, evaluate, and interpret various financial data, identifying trends and inconsistencies.
* IT literacy with broad knowledge of MI systems, databases, forecasting, planning, and budgeting tools. Expert working knowledge of Anaplan, Excel, TM1, and JDE.
* Qualified accountant with a proven track record in the general insurance sector.
