Telent's Network Services division is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our successful Engineering team based in Southampton. This role offers the chance to work with a talented team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth and development as a Cloud Engineer and gaining exposure to challenging projects.
The Cloud Engineer will develop and strengthen relationships with both internal and external customers, providing proactive service in all aspects of service delivery. The role acts as a bridge between the engineering team and Service Delivery, Projects, and Service Desk within Telent to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities:
* Train internal engineering staff and customers on products and solutions.
* Assist with Professional Services and Sales opportunities within Network Services.
* Monitor customer incidents and report as necessary.
* Highlight trends, security threats, or technical bulletins affecting customers.
* Manage documentation and technical information related to customer platforms and Telent Cloud Services (TCS).
* Follow internal and external processes regarding task allocation, completion, and reporting, including documentation updates.
* Assist with Proof of Concept (PoC), Type Approval activities, and lab testing.
* Create TA, POC, RFC, WI, and SoW documentation.
* Peer review engineering documentation.
* Lead or assist in pre-staging equipment for customer sites.
* Attend customer meetings as required.
* Ensure accurate timesheet submissions.
* Maintain relevant certifications and training aligned with role and objectives.
* Complete overtime and expenses accurately and timely.
* Adhere to GDPR and security policies regarding sensitive data.
Who you are:
The ideal Cloud Engineer will have an interest in Cloud technologies, including some Azure knowledge, Linux, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange. You should have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and experience in support environments (IT Managed Service). On-premise Cloud Services experience is also desirable.
* VCP 6.x-DCV (Desirable)
