Class 1 Shunter (CE)
Pure Staff are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Shunter to join our valued client based in the Tamworth area. This is a Monday to Friday role with ongoing work and the potential to become temp-to-perm, with immediate starts available .
Class 1 Shunter Role Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
UK Category CE licence held for a minimum of 2 years
At least 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Good communication skills
Strong knowledge of UK roads
A flexible, reliable, and professional working attitude
Role Details
Monday to Friday
11:00am - 10:00pm
11-hour shifts
Predominantly shunting Class 2 vehicles, with some Class 1 movements
Regular communication with Warehouse and Transport teams
90-minute driving assessment required prior to start (fully paid)
Pay & Benefits
£17.50 per hour
+ £2.45 per hour holiday accrual (paid when annual leave is taken)
