Job Title: Various Maintenance Roles (Mechanical / Electrical Bias) Location: Fife Purpose Plan, maintain, and ensure the efficient operation of all plant and machinery. Regularly review systems, carry out preventative maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Carry out maintenance and repairs on plant and machinery (mechanical and/or electrical). Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation and company policies. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in the workshop and work areas. Support the installation of new machinery and ensure all necessary services are in place. Create, follow, and update regular maintenance schedules. Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability for replacements. Assist the maintenance team as required and provide cover when necessary. Record labour and parts usage accurately in the maintenance system. Work to minimise equipment downtime and support operational efficiency. Performance Measures Quality of workmanship and technical competency. Compliance with company policies, rules, and regulations. Contribution to site safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives. Demonstration of initiative, ambition, and teamwork. Requirements Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge and competency in maintenance (mechanical and/or electrical). Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Team player with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues and managers. Ability to step up and lead in the absence of a team leader. Interest in learning other areas of the business and contributing to process improvements. Personal Attributes Calm under pressure and confident in approach. Self-motivated, reliable, and trustworthy. Effective communicator with peers and management. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. Positive and optimistic attitude. Additional Willingness to undergo further training as required. Availability to work overtime or at short notice when necessary to support business needs.
