Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the overall financial health of the organisation. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Duties
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
* Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
* Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow effectively.
* Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in financial reporting.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is essential.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with accounts payable processes is required.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are crucial for success in this role.
